The wider storm

A weak upper level disturbance traversed east-northeast across the Red River Valley and North Texas into Southwest Arkansas and extreme Northwest Louisiana during the late evening through the overnight hours of June 6th-7th, across a warm, moist, and unstable air mass already in place. Large scale forcing coupled with adequate wind shear contributed to the development of scattered showers and thunderstorms across these areas, with a couple of isolated severe thunderstorms producing damaging winds that downed a couple of trees in Southern Howard County Arkansas and Northeast Wood County Texas.

Began near Schaal (33.8256, -93.9305).
