Drought in Lake, Tennessee
Drought June 1, 2026 – June 23, 2026 · Lake, Tennessee
What the National Weather Service wrote
D2 Severe Drought Conditions improved to D1 Moderate Drought conditions prior to the end of the month.
The wider storm
June brought drought relief to west Tennessee, but did not end the ongoing drought. Beneficial rainfall during the latter portion of the month helped stabilize or improve conditions in some areas, but substantial precipitation deficits remained. Continued warm temperatures and elevated evapotranspiration meant that sustained rainfall would be necessary to produce meaningful drought recovery heading into July.
