Thunderstorms developed over northeastern Colorado during the late afternoon hours of June 8th. As this activity pushed east into southwestern Nebraska, severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts were reported. Wind gusts up to 72 MPH were reported in southwestern Hayes County.
