Measured with a ruler along River Rd. Hail of various sizes fell from about 512 PM to 520 PM.

The wider storm

Multiple rounds of severe weather impacted much of western SD and the eastern Plains. Biggest threat was large hail which was confirmed by numerous chaser reports. Damaging wind gusts were also measured by SD mesonet stations and personal weather stations across the area.

Began near Ladner (45.7400, -103.8800).
