What EF0 means. On the Enhanced Fujita scale, EF0 is light damage: shingles and siding peeled, gutters torn, branches broken, consistent with estimated gusts of 65–85 mph. The rating comes from a survey of the worst damage after the storm, not from a wind measurement, so it says as much about what the tornado hit as about how strong it was.

What the National Weather Service wrote

A National Weather Service Cleveland storm survey determined that a brief EF-0 tornado touched down on the west side of Conneautville, Pennsylvania, at about 4:10 PM EDT on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The tornado left a path of damage, uprooting several trees and snapping large limbs along Mulberry Lane and Mulberry Street. The circulation then moved east across Mulberry Street, causing additional tree damage before dissipating shortly thereafter. Additionally, several trees were uprooted and snapped along State Highway 198. Based on the observed damage, the tornado's maximum winds were estimated at 85 mph, yielding an EF-0 rating. The tornado was 100 yards wide. It was brief and produced a relatively short damage path before evolving into straight-line thunderstorm winds. Although the tornadic circulation ended, strong straight-line winds persisted south of the tornado path. These winds caused additional damage, including several trees downed across the railroad tracks near Main Street and Smith Avenue. Maximum straight-line wind speeds reached 80 mph.
