What the National Weather Service wrote

Several roofs and fences sustained minor thunderstorm wind damage, along with many large tree limbs blown down, in/around Lamont. A broadcast media storm chaser measured a 67-mph wind gust with a handheld anemometer near the event time. The location is approximate, and the event time is estimated based on radar observations.

The wider storm

Several rounds of severe thunderstorms impacted northern Oklahoma on the 13th and early morning hours of the 14th. The first featured a slowly decaying line of thunderstorms during the early morning of the 13th, producing a few observations of severe winds and wind damage. Later in the afternoon, a pair of supercell thunderstorms developed along a remnant outflow boundary across the region. Provided strong instability and steep lapse rates, several reports of large hail and damaging wind gusts were received with this activity. Later, a semi-organized convective line (along an approaching cold front) impacted similar areas, leading to additional reports of mainly damaging/severe wind gusts.

Began near Lamont (36.6900, -97.5600).
