Several wind gusts in excess of 60 mph with a peak gust of 66 mph on Interstate 25 at the Whitaker interchange. Peak gust of 61 mph was recorded in Cheyenne.

A strong pressure gradient produced high winds over and close to the mountains of southeastern Wyoming.
