Where the report was made, with tornadoes recorded within 15 miles over the years.
What the National Weather Service wrote
Most arroyos and low water crossings in the Talavera area ran overnight, particularly the arroyo and crossing on Soledad Canyon Road just east of Alma Road. This area was likely impassable at the peak flow. Nearby driveway with culverts was washed out.
The wider storm
Southeast surface flow brought 50s dew points into the Rio Grande Valley. Weak south-southwest flow aloft kept storm motion slow but did provide enough shear for some severe thunderstorm wind gusts to occur.
Began near University Park (32.3025, -106.6621).
