Drought in Miller, Arkansas

Drought June 1, 2026 – June 24, 2026 · Miller, Arkansas

The wider storm

Isolated Extreme (D3) to nearly widespread Severe (D2) drought continued across Miller and Lafayette Counties in Southwest Arkansas throughout much of June, before tapering back to Moderate (D1) drought as appreciable rainfall helped to ease drought conditions. June monthly rainfall totals ranged significantly from 5-10 inches across these counties in Southwest Arkansas, with the more appreciable rain falling during the latter half of the month. As a result, drought conditions continued to improve throughout the month as additional rain fell. Due to the improvement from all this rainfall, it was enough to completely erode the severe drought across Miller and Lafayette Counties by late in the month.
