What the National Weather Service wrote

The wider storm

A strong and persistent warm air advection pattern atop a surface front fostered scattered thunderstorm activity for most of the morning into the afternoon on the 18th across north-central Oklahoma. Sufficient wind shear and (elevated) instability allowed for occasional large hail concern with the strongest thunderstorms. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall across Grant County, Oklahoma also led to flooding.

Began near Salt Fork (36.6368, -97.6060).
