What the National Weather Service wrote
Severe thunderstorm outflow winds downed a tree blocking the intersection of Line Road and Quaker Ridge Road.
The wider storm
An unseasonably strong mid-level shortwave trough progressed across Northern New England on June 18th. This brought deep layer shear that allowed for high potential storm structure organization into line segments. The forcing combined with deep moisture allowed for robust convection, with bowing line segments transiting across Central and Southern New Hampshire, before weakening as it entered into Maine. A few storms maintained enough strength for isolated wind damage reports.
Began near South Leeds (44.2300, -70.1300).
