Isolated thunderstorms developed along a stationary front during the early evening hours of June 28. Storms intensified into the mid evening hours with hail up to the size of base balls being reported over northern Sheridan County. Severe storms continued through 1 AM MDT on June 29th before lifting north into southern South Dakota.
