Up to a foot of snow fell over the Northwest mountains, including around the Jemez mountains. Even higher totals were recorded at Snotel sites.

Wider weather episode

A slow moving storm along the California coast brought strong winds to the Central High Plains on the 3rd, while snow fell over much of the west and north on the 4th into the 5th.
