Up to a foot of snow fell over parts of the Sangre De Cristo mountains, with higher amounts at the ski areas and Snotel sites.

A slow moving storm along the California coast brought strong winds to the Central High Plains on the 3rd, while snow fell over much of the west and north on the 4th into the 5th.
