An upper level disturbance and warm front brought heavy snow to areas near the Cascade Mountains. Heavy snow continued over the Blue Mountains into Christmas. Snowfall amounts in inches included Snowden(12) and 6 miles north of White Salmon(10), Touchet SnoTel(10), Ski Bluewood(13).
