Heavy snow of 4-12 inches fell. In Bellevue, a large tent weighted by heavy snow, collapsed at a temporary ice rink, briefly trapping a few people. One girl had minor injuries.
Wider weather episode
On the second day of the Dec 20-21 weekend, a Pacific frontal system moved onshore, bringing more snow to much of western Washington.
