Some mudslides were reported along road 129 from Lares municipality to Hatillo municipality.

Wider weather episode

A moist low level easterly flow lingering behind the passage of a tropical wave in addition to favorable upper level atmospheric conditions produced scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms which developed along the northern slopes of the Cordillera Central and into northwestern Puerto Rico where heavy rains produced flash flooding and rapid river rises.
