Heavy rain caused the Naselle River to overflow its banks and cause significant flooding. The Naselle River crested at a flood of record of 20.8 ft.

Wider weather episode

A powerful storm system brought very heavy rainfall to the region in early January. The heavy rainfall combined with snowmelt runoff caused flooding along multiple rivers in southwest Washington.
