Heavy rain combined with snowmelt runoof caused very high water on several streams and creeks which resulted in water over highway 35 between Mount Hood Meadows and Parkdale.

A powerful storm system brought very heavy rainfall to the region in early January. The heavy rainfall combined with snowmelt runoff caused flooding along multiple rivers in southwest Washington.
