Event narrative

Brian Head received a storm total of 21 inches of snow, including 13 inches in 8 hours. Also, numerous SNOTELs reported 12 to 20 inches in the south-central mountains.

Wider weather episode

A large winter storm brought mainly heavy snow to much of Utah. Accumulations ranges from 3 to 6 inches in many of the more populated valleys, to up to two feet in the mountains.
