The wider storm

A surface trough extended from the Eastern Carolinas through the coastal plains of South Carolina and Georgia and across the Suwannee Valley and into the Panhandle. A line of convection was enhanced by a passing upper level short wave trough, and storm produced impressive wind gusts across the area.
