Spotters reported 11 inches of snow at Trout Lake and 10 inches snow 5 miles west northwest of Appleton.

Wider weather episode

A moist westerly flow brought heavy snow to the higher elevations in western Klickitat County. Ten to 11 inches of snow were reported from midnight to 4 pm.
