A member of the public 10N Fort Rock reported a 180x60 foot hay barn 20 foot tall at the eaves blown down. Hay in the fields was flattened by heavy rain and wind.

Wider weather episode

Southerly winds aloft ahead of an offshore cutoff low advected monsoonal moisture over the area. Short waves spinning around the low and a deformation zone aloft contributed to the development of numerous afternoon and evening thunderstorms, a number of which contained large hail and strong winds.
