Nickel sized hail and wind gusts approaching 50 mph were reported at the Signal Mountain Marina.

Clearing skies in the afternoon allowed sufficient heating to generate severe thunderstorms across western Wyoming. Instability was enhanced in moist southwest flow ahead of slow moving low pressure in California.
