Sudden and sustained winds from collapsing supercell broke all three boat docks off the shore of Pelton Park Reservoir. Every tent in the park was flattened by the wind.

Wider weather episode

An upper level closed low over California brought moisture north into central Oregon which triggered numerous thundertstorms August 1-2.
