Event narrative

Lightning struck a home in Nobleboro and ignited a fire that destroyed the home. A homeowner was home at the time and reported sparks throughout the kitchen area. The fire spread rapidly throughout the structure and destroyed the home. Damage was estimated at 1.5 million dollars.
