Chigmit Mountain reported gust to 104 mph.

Wider weather episode

An intense north Pacific storm moved across the Alaska Peninsula October 9th and 10th. The storm produced high wind across Kodiak Island and the Bristol Bay area. Along with the Strong wind heavy rain fell across Kodiak Island and the southern Kenai Peninsula. The city of Kodiak measured 7.5 inches of rain on the 9th and 10th. The heavy rain resulted in minor small stream flooding and a few mud slides.
