A maximum wind gust of 61 mph was recorded at the Muskegon GLERL coastal observation station.
Wider weather episode
An intensifying fall low pressure system brought high wind gusts across Lake Michigan and along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Measured wind gusts of up to 62 mph were recorded at the South Haven coastal GLERL observation station, and up to 61 mph at the Muskegon coastal GLERL observation station.
