A waterspout was sighted over Mississippi Sound just south of Gulfport.

An upper level disturbance situated over Texas resulted in numerous showers and a few thunderstorms across the coastal waters of southeast Louisiana and Mississippi. A few of the thunderstorms produced waterspouts.
