Event narrative

A mature waterspout was observed about one mile northwest of Sombrero Key Light. A spray ring was visible up to 40 feet in height as the waterspout drifted slowly toward the west.

Waterspouts were observed in association with scattered showers in the nearshore waters along the Middle and Upper Florida Keys.
