Local TV media reported that 6 inches of new snow in Cascade Locks, Oregon, and that 8 inches of snow had fallen in Hood River, Oregon. It is likely these same conditions affected Stevenson and Carson, Wa, which are across the Columbia River from Cascade Locks, Oregon, as well as areas in Washington that are directly across from Hood River.

Wider weather episode

Several inches of new snow fell on the Washington side of the Columbia River gorge for areas east of Stevenson.
