Strong west to northwest winds developed across the Antelope Valley. The ASOS sensor at Lancaster reported sustained winds between 41 and 45 MPH.

A strong northwest to north wind event affected the mountains of Ventura and Los Angeles counties as well as the Antelope Valley. In the mountains, northerly wind gusts to 77 MPH were reported while across the Antelope Valley sustained northwesterly winds of 45 MPH were reported.
