Event narrative

Up to 2 inches of snowfall accumulation was reported across the county. Several locations received 2 inches of snowfall. These locations included: Athens and Ardmore. Tragically, one person was killed and two were injured in a wreck that occurred Monday morning during the slick conditions.

Wider weather episode

Rain changed to snow after midnight on the 15th bringing a 2 to 4 hour period of light to moderate snowfall. Snowfall amounts ranged from a few tenths of an inch up to 2 inches. Some accidents were reported due to icy conditions.
