A public report of 3.5 inches of snow in Citronelle.

An area of low pressure moved across the northern Gulf of Mexico and passed to the south of the Mobile area. Heavy rain changed over to snow across portions of the central gulf coast as the low moved to the east. Snowfall accumulations ranged from a dusting along the I-10 corridor to as much as 5 inches across portions of interior southwest Alabama.
