Strong winds damaged several ceiling tiles and twisted some metal in the parking garage of an office building near the southern end of the Causeway Bridge. Time estimated based on ASOS at KMSY and KNEW.

Strong winds developed on the trailing edge of an area of rain and thunderstorms. Sustained winds near 40 mph were reported with gusts above 50 mph.
