Heavy rain caused widespread flooding on small rivers and streams throughout Rockingham County. Damage to property and infrastructure reached 1.2 million dollars.
Wider weather episode
Low pressure developed over the Carolinas on March 13 and moved northeast spreading heavy rain over New England. Rainfall amounts ranged from 4 to 9 inches in southeast New Hampshire which caused serious flooding. Many areas saw county-wide damage especially in Rockingham County where there was over a million dollars in damage to property and infrastructure.
