A wind gust of 34 knots was measured by a cooperative observer on Cudjoe Key, near the south shore of Cudjoe Bay.
The wider storm
A line of showers and embedded thunderstorms moved south from Florida Bay and the Gulf of Mexico waters, bringing isolated gale force wind gusts to portions of the Lower Florida Keys.
Began near Big Pine Key (24.6478, -81.4813).
