A waterspout was observed by a airplane pilot approximately 25 miles east of Marathon Airport, or about 10 miles east-southwest of Duck Key.

Wider weather episode

A small cluster of moderate intensity rain showers developed in the nearshore Atlantic waters along the Upper Florida Keys. Two waterspouts were observed.
