A waterspout was observed 3 miles northeast of Boca Chica Key. The visible funnel cloud extended one quarter of the way down to the water surface with no spray ring observed.

Cumulus congestus cloud lines along the Lower Florida Keys produced several waterspouts in the nearshore waters.
