A spotter in Kykotsmovi Village reported visibility down to 10 feet at times in blowing dust. Blowing dust in Pinon dropped the visibility down to 200 yards at times.

Wider weather episode

A large storm system moving over the western United States and a strong cold front moving across northern Arizona brought high winds and blowing dust to much of the area.
