The ASOS Station at the Charlotte County Airport measured a wind gust of 46 knots.

High pressure was in place across the area through the period with the ridge axis to the north providing a predominant light easterly wind. With daytime heating and the moist environment in place, scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms developed each day along sea breeze and outflow boundaries.
