Event narrative

A severe thunderstorm snapped off four large trees on Route 3 in Palermo.

Wider weather episode

A pre-frontal trough ahead of an approaching cold front crossed the region from northwest to southeast on the afternoon of June 20th. A long lived supercell which moved through west central Maine was responsible for numerous wind damage reports and some large hail.
