Heavy rain caused flash flooding on US-89 in Marysville Canyon, near Big Rock Candy Mountain. Mud flowed across the road, blocking traffic and causing several vehicles to get stuck.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms continued across Utah, leading to more flash flooding in southern Utah, as well as an EF0 tornado near Wellington.
