A six-inch diameter tree limb was reported down on Birch Street near Indian Lake, MI. Storms also dumped three to four inches of rain between Manistique and Gulliver.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moving through a moist and unstable airmass produced scattered severe thunderstorms across mainly the southern portion of Upper Michigan on the evening of the 27th.
