A wind gust of 34 knots (39 mph) was observed at an automated Citizens Weather Observing Program station on the south shore of Cudjoe Bay.

A line of showers and thunderstorms moved through the Lower Florida Keys, producing isolated gale-force wind gusts. A cluster of showers and thunderstorms followed, producing gale-force wind gusts near Dry Tortugas National Park. Several showers produced near-gale force wind gusts without lightning observed.
