Event narrative

Two waterspouts were observed north of the Cudjoe Key Sheriffs Substation, approximately 2 miles north of Cudjoe Key. One of the waterspouts had a discernable spray ring and was visible completely from cloud base to the water surface.

Wider weather episode

Cumulus congestus cloud lines developed near the Lower Florida Keys, producing showers, thunderstorms and a couple waterspouts.
