A wind gust to 68 mph was recorded at the Spring Gulch RAWS about 13 miles southwest of West Wendover.

Wider weather episode

High wind buffeted the higher passes and along the lee sides of higher mountain ranges across much of Elko county. Wind gusts as high as 68 mph were measured.
