Event narrative
Low to Mid 30s occurred across metro and coastal sections of Palm Beach County during the mornings of the 27th and 28th with the coldest temperatures occurring across the far west and north suburbs. Temperatures ranged from 32 at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, North Palm Beach, and in Palm Beach Gardens, 33 in Juno Beach, and 34 at Lake Worth and Boynton Beach. Frost also occured on the morning of the 28th.

The third intrusion of modified arctic air into South Florida occurred from December 26th through the 29th with the coldest mornings occurring on the 27th and 28th. The duration of the third event was slightly shorter than the previous event, however temperatures where about the same. This event also ensured that the average temperature for December would remain well below average keeping the area on pace to reach the coldest December in recorded history for the region. Across northern and interior sections of the CWA crops that were already suffering from the previous two events were practically finished off.
