Slick roads from light sleet and freezing rain earlier in the day lead to a traffic fatality on Indiana State Highway 62 near Jeffersonville, Indiana. The driver lost control of her vehicle, which crossed the median and collided with another vehicle. Two people in the other vehicle received injuries.
Wider weather episode
A light snow and sleet mix fell during the day across southern Indiana. Slick roads later that evening contributed to a fatal automobile accident on Indiana State Highway 62 near Stacy Springs Court.
