High winds produced a gust of 57 knots measured by the C-MAN Station on the Isle of Shoals.

Explosive intensification of low pressure in the Gulf of Maine during the early morning hours of November 8th resulted in high winds across much of coastal and southern interior Maine. Wind gusts were measured at 57 knots at the Isle of Shoals and 52 knots at the Portland buoy 44007.
